---- Project Overview
Detail, balance, and timeline — three demands met in equal measure.
ITC Royal Bengal Kolkata represents one of the most significant hospitality commissions in Eastern India — a property that required the careful marriage of contemporary sensibility with classical reference points. HFS was engaged to deliver fit-outs, loose furniture, and site works across the lobby and restaurant spaces, in a project that tested both our craftsmanship and our project management precision.
The design brief called for a blend of design philosophies — where classical forms and details coexist with contemporary material choices and spatial logic. Our mastercraftsmen worked alongside modern machinery to ensure that each element, whether a hand-carved detail or a precision-engineered fitting, held its quality under the scrutiny of one of India’s most demanding hotel brands.
Execution to timeline on a property of this scale demands not just skill but orchestration. Our production, logistics, and on-site coordination teams worked in parallel to ensure phased delivery without disruption — a defining feature of how HFS approaches projects of complexity and significance.
The lobby — fit-outs, bespoke loose furniture, and site works delivered to ITC Hotels specification, blending classical craft with contemporary spatial design.

"Blending design philosophies is one of the most demanding briefs in hospitality. It requires craftsmen who understand both the classical and the contemporary — and know where they meet."
Our mastercraftsmen combine hand techniques with modern machinery — the discipline that allows us to hold quality across both classical and contemporary design vocabularies.
