Coffee tables sit at the centre of every lounge and suite seating group, which makes them both a design decision and a durability one. HFS builds them to contract specification in owned facilities, in the dimensions and finish your scheme requires.

The centre of the seating group

A coffee table has to work with the sofas and chairs around it — height against seat height, footprint against circulation, edge profile against how people actually use it. Get the proportion wrong and the whole group reads as bought rather than designed. Get the construction wrong and the top shows every ring and scratch within a season.

These are made to order. Top dimension and thickness, height, edge detail, base or leg construction, timber, finish and any metal or stone element are specified by your design team, and we manufacture to the approved drawings.

Where they are made

Coffee tables with handcrafted joinery, shaped bases or hand-applied finishes are built in India. Simpler forms needed in volume — where three hundred identical tables have to match — suit the China facility, which is set up for high-volume case goods. Both facilities are owned, totalling 75,000 sq ft, so there is no middleman between your drawing and the finished piece.

How the process runs

We begin with design development, working directly with your interior designer to produce shop drawings that can be manufactured to the intent of the scheme. An approval sample follows in three to four weeks. Production runs against that approved sample, with quality inspection at every milestone — material grade, finish and hardware verified against specification before dispatch. Sea freight to Jebel Ali is fourteen to twenty-one days, and delivery is phased against your programme.

Built for hospitality brands

Our work is in properties operated by IHCL and Taj, Aman, St. Regis, ITC Hotels, Marriott International, Hilton, Kempinski and IHG. If you are specifying lounge or suite furniture for a property in the UAE or India, send us the drawings.
