Katra is a town defined by its purpose — the gateway to the shrine of Vaishno Devi, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in the world. The Vivanta Katra serves a guest profile unlike any other: pilgrims, leisure travellers, and business visitors who share a single expectation — a refuge of genuine quality in a setting of profound significance. HFS was entrusted with fit-outs and site works across the meeting room, the Shalimar Hall, public areas, and the Presidential Suite.

The scope demanded versatility. A meeting room requires a different material logic than a Presidential Suite; a banquet hall like the Shalimar Hall carries a weight of occasion that calls for furniture of ceremony and durability in equal measure. Across all of these spaces, the design brief held to a balance of modern and contemporary — never ornate, always considered, always in service of the guest who arrives here seeking something memorable.
