Aman-i-Khas

Aman-i-Khas is among the most distinctive properties in the Aman portfolio — a tented camp at the edge of Ranthambore National Park, where the boundary between the natural world and the guest’s living space is deliberately, beautifully thin. The design language is rooted in the Mughal and Rajput traditions of the region: rich materiality, considered proportion, and a sense of permanence that belies the impermanence of canvas and pole.

HFS was entrusted with the FF&E supply across the tent villas, living areas, and dining spaces — a commission that demanded craftsmanship of the highest order, and an intimate understanding of the colonial-meets-heritage design philosophy that Aman-i-Khas embodies. Every piece — beds, headboards, campaign-style furniture, lounge seating, dining chairs and tables — was manufactured at our owned facility and specified to Aman’s exacting standards.

Delivering for an Aman property requires the recognition that their guests have likely experienced the finest hospitality environments in the world. The furniture must match the expectation set by the brand’s reputation — tactile, considered, quietly exceptional. This project represents one of HFS’s most significant craft commissions, and remains a benchmark for what our atelier is capable of.
